Why Doesn T Itunes Have 4k Disney Movies
Netflix now has over 200 million paid subscribers, and its total audience is almost certainly larger. While many users stream its content from mobile devices, others love to watch Netflix on their big 4K TV or projector. How can you stream Netflix in 4K, and does it also support High Dynamic Range (HDR) video?

Here's a quick look at Netflix in 4K, and how you can stream some shows and movies in full Ultra HD resolution with HDR support. You can sign up for the service at the link below:
Can I watch Netflix in 4K Ultra HD and HDR?
The simple answer is "Yes". You can watch certain movies and shows in 4K resolution on the service. Netflix uses the term "Ultra HD" to label shows and movies that support 4K. You can type in "4K" or "Ultra HD" in the search bar to locate supported shows and films with that resolution. You can also browse Netflix's library normally, and movies or TV shows with the "Ultra HD" badge can support 4K resolution.
Netflix also supports two HDR formats: Dolby Vision and HDR10. If you have either a Dolby Vision or HDR10-compatible TV, supported TV shows and movies on Netflix will either have a "Dolby Vision" or "HDR" badge as well.
How can I access Netflix in 4K Ultra HD and HDR?
It's tricky to access Netflix in 4K Ultra HD and HDR. First, you need to have a device that supports 4K resolution and/or one of the two supported HDR formats (Dolby Vision and HDR10). There are tons of smart TVs that support these formats. In addition, Windows PCs can support 4K and HDR via the Netflix Windows 10 app or the Microsoft Edge browser, again with a 4K HDR monitor. Mac PCs, with a 4K HDR monitor, can stream Netflix with those formats via the Safari web browser. Finally, some Android and iOS smartphones and tablets can stream Netflix movies with 4K and HDR support. You will need to check your device's hardware specs to see if it works.
Assuming your device can stream video in 4K Ultra HD and HDR, the next thing you need to do is see if your Netflix plan supports those formats. However, only the service's most expensive plan ($17.99 per month) allows for streaming content in 4K and HDR. That plan also supports up to four concurrent streams at once. The (slightly) good news is that it's easy to switch between Netflix plans.

Finally, your internet connection needs to have download speeds of at least 25Mbps to support 4K and HDR streaming. Your Netflix streaming quality must also be set to High in your settings. Keep in mind that it's best to have a wired or Wi-Fi internet connection for these speeds. Cellular speeds are usually much lower. Even if the speeds are plenty speedy in your area, you could use up your monthly data allotment quickly if you have a limited mobile data plan.
